Cargo Overseas are a professional forwarder whom pride themselves on their attention to detail. This serves the company, our suppliers and most of all, our customers well by encouraging a highly motivated well organised working environment where each member can assist and aide in decision making and information presentation.
As well as external staff training we also have internal training and incorporate a cross-role approach where employees are multi-tasked across several different departments. It is this approach which we feel allows us to produce and maintain a happy workforce whom are an asset to our company and which the investment will bring it's own rewards. A large number of the courses are not mandatory but we feel that it is important that our staff remain upto date and keep abreast of any amendments which impact on our business.
2007 Training rota - External
- January 17-18 - Damian McCluskey. Dangerous goods by Air refresher course.
- January 14-16 - Andy Awramenko. Dangerous goods by Air refresher course.
- February 14-15 - Ryan Crompton. Dangerous goods by Air course.
We are also in the process of training Laura Jones who heads up our insurance department to take overall responsibility for our ISO management. Our process of internal recruitment and development of existing staff continues apace and Laura's additional responsibilities are one example of our comittment to our staff.
