Cargo Overseas understands the difficulties in moving cargo into the
emerging trading lanes of Iran, Iraq and Libya. During the second Gulf
war we were operating charters into the Middle East when the U.S. requested
our regularly utilised aircraft for supply drops to the troops stationed
in the area.
Cargo Overseas have partners in Jordan, Iran, Israel, Egypt and Turkey
which allows us to provide regular services into the area and beyond
into the neighbouring countries of Iraq and Syria. It is this presence
within the region and our partners links with the U.S. military supply
chain that allows us to serve Iraq. The re-building efforts in the region
will require supplies from around the world and our cross-trade and project
divisions back-up our general forwarding services into the region.
Libya is another emerging market now sanctions have been lifted
and through our services into Tripoli we are handling week-on-week
more and more consignments into the area. Egypt has always been a
strong gateway for us by sea and air and with our growing relationships
and reputation within these countries we are able to pass on substantial
savings and experience to our customers.
Cargo Overseas philosophy is one which requires us to provide
the highest service levels possible before, during and after
transit. It is this desire that requires us to liaise with
the embassies in these countries to remain updated on the latest
rules and procedures so we can provide assistance during all
transit arrangements. Whether it be arranging certificate of
origin requirements or legalisation of documents Cargo Overseas
can liaise with the chamber and embassy on your behalf or advise
you on your requirements to meet trade agreements and avoid costly
delays in transit or clearance overseas.
