Cargo Overseas aviation security manager attended the first ever Level G aviation security course held in London last week(18th and 19th November).  Run by Peter East who are at the forefront in aviation security and are the first accredited trainers to run these new courses Cargo Overseas understand the need for their staff to be fully conversant with the latest information.

With full training and remaining abreast of the latest developments in aviation security Cargo Overseas are able to ensure that their customers freight services are handled in a professional and reliable manner.  Reducing down the delays incurred by presenting cargo to the airlines and ground handling agents at UK airports not suitable for carraige by air.

The UK airfreight market suffers regularly from delays caused by dense cargo being presented for X-ray.  Freight forwarders have a duty to ensure that their customers are provided with guidance and information to minimise delays.  Unfortunately, a number of freight forwarders are concerned that by provide assistance and guidance their customers will see the additional costs as a negative factor in using that forwarder and so shipment delays are not reducing as quickly as they could be.

Cargo Overseas philosophy is one where providing the right cargo to the airlines helps the shipper, manufacturer, airline and also allows us to control our consolidation services.  If cargo is presented which is going to be snagged then in the long run the costs to the airline and consolidation service is increased which leads to increases to the shipper.

Cargo Overseas remain at the forefront through staff training of keeping costs economical for the services it offers whilst providing the very best services for it's customers.
