Robins Transport are Cargo Overseas preferred airfreight haulage company at Manchester Airport. Based on the prestigious world freight terminal at Manchester Airport, Robins Transport's export transit shed is at the heart of the airfreight community at Manchester Airport. Cargo Overseas have worked with Robins Transport since 2001 and over time have come to rely on them for most of their airfreight road haulage needs. With level 4 accredited drivers Robins Transport are able to cover the majority of our needs.
In 2005 Cargo Overseas decided to open an ERTS(Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) facility at Manchester Airport and the logical solution was for Robins Transport to run this facility on our behalf. Leasing space from within one of Robins Transports' warehouse facilities close to Manchester Airport we were able to offer our customers additional "added value" services whilst Robins Transport could sell the ERTS facility to it's varied freight forwarding customer base acting independently of ourselves. This philosophy which Robins Transport have of working closely with its customers is at the heart of why Robins Transport have been successfully serving the airfreight community at Manchester Airport for over 20 years.
Robins Transports' business has evolved as the logistics and freight-forwarding business has adpated to the changing needs of it's customers. With Trunker services to London Heathrow and Glasgow they can now cover the whole of the UK as a next-day delivery service. This complements their sameday delivery division, ERTS facility, general warehousing and pick and pack operation.
