The airfreight division was created out of our desire to provide a complete freight forwarding service to our customers and has quickly become a major part of our core freight forwarding business.  Airfreight consolidations and direct master consignments are the tools of our trade as well as aircraft charter and part charters.  

Cargo Overseas is a registered IATA Cargo Agent who can arrange for the movement of airfreight to and from the UK as well as cross trade traffic aroudn the world.  We can handle airfreight shipments ranging from small parcels to bulk airfreight that requires the use of heavylift aircraft. We can handle these airfreight shipments on either a door-to-door or airport-to-airport basis and operate specialist airfreight courier services which are unique to our industry .

Through close working relationships with both independent and national carrier airlines, we are able to provide a tailored airfreight service at exceptional rates.  Cargo Overseas’ airfreight staff are qualified and fully trained to handle both Dangerous Goods and Aviation Secure cargo.  Cargo Overseas are a listed and regulated agent with the Department for Transport and we maintain the highest standards when handling all our airfreight consignments, whether they are from a known or unknown shipper.  We have a number of ways in which we ensure unknown airfreight consignments are handled correctly to minimise delays whilst progressing through the airfreight security regime and work with our shippers to ensure that airfreight consignments are presented in the correct manner.    

Cargo Overseas also has a dedicated import department with a direct computer link to HM Customs & Excise, which enables us to customs clear freight arriving anywhere in the UK.
