2009 : UK top 200 IATA forwarders PDF Print E-mail

iataCargo Overseas have again out-performed those industry standards laid down by airfreight delivery companies exporting by air from the UK.  In August 2010 the previous years figures for freight spend with IATA CASS airlines is published.  These show that building on our freight delivery figures of 2008 Cargo Overseas have continued to increase their market share and have moved up a further 36 places in the UK's top 200 IATA freight forwarders list.

This has come at a time when most freight delivery specialists in the list are showing big losses reflecting the economic recession which was felt by most in 2009.  Cargo Overseas continued development of services, staff and training helped to boost through these leaner times and continue to increase our freight forwarding portfolio.

As a freight delivery specialist operating in many specialised markets Cargo Overseas customers continued to support those more interesting markets.  Utilising a mixture of IATA airlines and non-iata charter outfits we continued to provide services, increasing staff levels when many were laying people off.  With a strong finish to 2009 we have carried this over into 2010 and look on course for another bumper year for our airfreight division.

Our consolidation services continue to grow with increasing development on our weekly India, China and US consol services.  These services compete with the integrators and as a freight delivery specialist we can offer door to door on both our inbound and outbound services.  This flexibility in using commercial airline carriers as well as charter airlines means Cargo Overseas will continue to grow our services in 2010.
